We aim to be a good neighbour and are undertaking a full consultation and community engagement programme to shape our proposal. As part of our planning application preparation we are delivering activities to ensure that all interested parties – residents, businesses, community groups, neighbours, education centres, local councils, other stakeholders – have the opportunity to be informed, consulted and involved.
This website is part of that process. Our stakeholder engagement is in line with the principles of the local planning authority’s Statement of Community Involvement, published in 2006.
We are meeting with local councils and other organisations, and holding public exhibitions of our proposals in advance of submission of the planning application. Information on these stakeholder activities can be found on the News page of this web site, and links and contact details for further information are given on the Contacts page. The Contacts page gives detailed information on how community and interest groups can make contact with us, ask questions and express opinion.
All public information and presentation material is available to read and download from this site.
We are also facilitating a Community Liaison Group for representatives of residents living near the Trading Estate and other interested parties. Progress on the CLG meetings can be found on the CLG page.
